Compulsory Consumer Education Initiative

Empowering Consumers Through Knowledge

How it works

We are advocating for policymakers to make it  mandatory for education campaigns by fast fashion companies in order to empowering consumers with the knowledge they need to make informed choices and drive positive change in the fashion industry.

The Need for Mandate

Consumer education is key to combating the harmful effects of fast fashion. By raising awareness about the environmental and social consequences of clothing production, we empower individuals to make ethical purchasing decisions. Hence by making it compulsory for fast fashion companies to roll out educational campaigns once a year, we help pushes sustainability efforts and awareness.

Driving Change through Education Campaign

Studies show that consumer education initiatives can lead to a significant increase in awareness about the environmental and social impacts of fast fashion. According to a study by Deloitte, 47% of consumers actively seek information about the social and environmental impact of products they purchase. This suggests that there is a sizable interest in sustainability efforts. By mandating education campaigns, we anticipate a shift in consumer behaviour towards more sustainable and ethical fashion choices, ultimately driving positive change in the industry.
